WHAT ARE FLIGT RULES?

Visual flight rules (VFR) day and night for aircraft and drones

Maximum atlitude ceiling is 120m (400ft) above ground level (AGL) - drones

Typical altitude 2000-3000 ft AGL for the aircraft

Maximum speeds are around 18m/s or 65km/h

We can operate in any airspace with coordination required if operating near the airports 

UAV electronic fence system is armed at al times protecting the airport boundaries when flying drones

Typical crew of 2, consits of pilot and observer. More complex missions require 3-4 people

DO YOU OPERATE UNDER SFOC?

Standing SFOC 5812-15-1-2017-1134 for night and day operations in all airspaces except the class (F) with prior permission

All pilots trained and certified

Aircraft has to be visible to the UAV pilot and observer at all times (VLOS). FPV and beyond the line of sight is not alowed for commercial missions

$2M Commercial UAV Liability Insurance on site with 3rd party coverages for damage and bodily injury

Temperature range 0C - +40C (14 -104F)

 Clear of fog and cloud and in visibility 5 km

 No flight in precipitation or icing conditions

 Max wind at altitude of 300 ft above ground 10 m/s (20 KTS)

 Final Go/No Go decision is upon the pilot in command

Approved for flights near and at the airport with the proper coordination from the NavCanada
